Yamaha Rhino Rollover Information Scheduled to Air on CBS

Tonight on the CBS Evening News (7:00 Eastern Standard Time), there is going to be a 5 minute program on serious injuries and deaths involving 450 and 660 Yamaha Rhino ATVs.

Our law firm has filed lawsuits against Yamaha Motor Corp. USA alleging that defects in the design of the Yamaha Rhino ATVs caused the accidents. According to attorney Eric Hageman, the Yamaha Rhino lawyer managing our Rhino rollover cases:

“While Yamaha has acknowledged the inherent danger of the Rhino by suspending sales until certain repairs are made, those repairs don’t go far enough and there are still countless thousands of Rhinos out there that have the capacity to cause very serious injuries or death to Rhino passengers or drivers.  The Rhino is incredibly dangerous, even at low speeds and on flat terrain, because of inherent flaws in its design, including having a narrow track width, high platform, high center of gravity, wheels too small to maintain stability, and top-heavy design.  No repairs can fix all of those problems.  Simply put, the only way to protect people from this product is to remove it from the market.”

We received an email regarding the CBS program from John Sand, father of Ellie Sand, a young girl who was killed in a Yamaha Rhino accident.  With him, we encourage readers to watch the program.  We also encourage people to contact their legislators, asking them to fight for product safety protections.  If all products had safety standards and companies were held accountable, Ellie Sand would not have died.  Ellie Sand website: www.yamaha-rhino-information.com.
